Toybox Garage was born out of a simple problem: Austin needed a shop that truly understood JDM vehicles.

After years of working on kei trucks, Land Cruisers, and other Japanese classics, Mattie Huntingdon kept seeing the same issue. These vehicles require specialized knowledge, patience, and a willingness to source rare parts from overseas. Too many shops either didn’t understand them or didn’t want to take them on.

Toybox was built to fill that gap.

We provide quick, professional service tailored to JDM vehicles, but repairs are only part of what we do. With a background in mechanical engineering, design, and high-end construction, Mattie brings together precision, problem-solving, and creativity. That mix allows Toybox to handle everything from practical fleet builds to one-off custom projects that turn imports into rolling works of art. At Toybox, we don’t just fix cars.
